In December of 2020 Interacters handmade eco-friendly present bows from recycled newspaper and sold them online. All proceeds were donated to the Barbara Weider House in Collingwood. In just four days we sold out of all our bows and raised over $500.

Pie A Rotarian!
In February of 2021 we managed to get 4 Rotarians from both of our sponsor clubs to volunteer to get pied in the face. Money was donated online with a note of who the donor wanted to see get pied, in the end the Rotarian with the most money pledged towards them got a pie in the face (Sorry not sorry John!) In just over a week we raised just under $4000 which was all donated to one of Plan International's Gifts of Hope, that gives birth certificates to children in Kenya. The birth certificates help the receiving children get access to medical resources, gain the ability to vote when they are adults and prevent them from being involved human trafficking.

Culture Exchange
In March of 2021 we were reached out to by the Interact Club of Sao Paulo, and asked to take part in their project called, 80 Days Around The World. 80 Days Around The World is a project that is connecting Interact Clubs around the world during Covid times. The Sao Paulo club, along with two other clubs from Brazil, shared a presentation about Brazil and their culture over a zoom call, and we did the same for Canada. It was great to learn about another country and afterwards when both presentations were done and the clubs were just able to talk to one another it was interesting to hear that even though we are from different countries, all of us were going through the same things. Overall we had a great experience and hope to work with all three Brazil clubs in the future.

Youth Open House
In May of 2021 we held a virtual open house via Google Meet, in which anyone from the community was welcome to join and listen to guest speakers from youth centred groups in the community.
